The compositions are impressionistic enough to allow the viewer to participate and thereby identify for themselves the locations of the landscapes. Can you remember a time when you were in that very setting?

Colors are soft, but exaggerated to alert viewers to the reality of colors found in nature. Painting the balance and harmony of natural color stimulates the viewer's eye to see the subtleties which exist in nature.
